Zumba Fitness Everyday!
One of my favorite every day fitness classes that I like to teach and practice is Zumba fitness. Zumba is a fusion of mostly Latin inspired and world rhythms, dance steps and aerobics which create an exciting and effective fitness program. The class format uses interval training, which combines fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body and burn fat! You can expect to burn a lot of calories in this fun fast paced workout. The dance steps are easy to follow and include body sculpting exercises that target the butt, legs, arms, core, abs and the most important muscle in the body, the heart. If you love to dance, then you will enjoy the “fun” aspects of Zumba, the music will keep you moving and grooving. Experienced and non-experienced dancers can enjoy the dance steps to the individual level and pace. The music and dance steps are different, fun and can create a party-like atmosphere. The music is what motivates participants to include this workout in their everyday fitness or at least once or twice a week where they can get to a class. I started teaching Zumba about two years ago, after I completed the Zumba basic teacher training program. As a licensed instructor, I can enjoy being part of a large international network of teachers, and receive monthly music with new choreography to use in my classes, which keeps things interesting, and fresh, as you can learn the latest dance steps and workouts. Presently, I teach about 4-5 Zumba fitness classes a week, and practice often, so it feels like this program has definitely become a part of my everyday fitness. I love to Zumba!
